Derived from the ancient Greek word φῶς (phōs), meaning light, this name was chosen to honor the Hellenic tradition that once colonized our Messina coasts. This tradition initiated the cultivation of grapes, creating a symbolic parallel between light and the D.O.C. Faro, the flagship of our company
The label showcases an image of a vintage motorcycle from the Verzera family's private collection, emphasizing their passion for historic vehicles. Blue beams of light radiate from the motorcycle's headlamp, accentuating the colors of the sky and sea during the season when Sicily's fragrances and colors are most appreciated. This motorcycle symbolizes freedom and a thirst for adventure, capturing the essence of experiencing Sicily on two wheels.
This wine is crafted from Nerello Mascalese grapes vinified in white and Chardonnay, creating a blend rich in aromas and flavors shaped by the sea breeze of the Tyrrhenian coast that caresses our vineyards.
